FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
At a young age, I found myself constantly drawn to artistic expression. I was incredibly fortunate to grow up in the quaint town of Ojai, California, a place known for its peaceful setting in a beautiful valley that is a hub for artists and creativity. My passion to create eventually translated into a connection to interior design and the ability to evoke a sense of feeling through the details of a space. Driven by this passion, I pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego.
From there, I began my interior design career at a prestigious architecture firm in San Diego, California. Working alongside experienced architects and designers in my formative years provided me with a deep foundation of how to conceive spaces that are both beautiful and functional, understanding the intricate details that bring a design to life, from project conception to completion.
After designing several residential and large-scale commercial projects, which helped me to refine my personal aesthetic, I founded my namesake studio, Courtney Werber Interiors, a full-service interior design firm based in my hometown of Ojai, California. My California upbringing naturally infuses into my design work; an aesthetic that is thoughtful, relaxed, with a timeless approach – elevated yet effortless.

Collaborating closely with clients to bring their vision to life is the most fulfilling aspect of the design process for me. By forging a deep connection and truly understanding their aspirations, we collaborate to create spaces that reflect their ideas and enhance their daily living. The end result is a harmonious design that seamlessly blends functionality with personal style, transforming houses into inspiring homes. The trust that clients place in me to reimagine their spaces is a privilege that I will always cherish.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me spending quality time with friends and family, exploring new places, whipping up new recipes, snuggling with my sweet cat Laurel, or on the hunt for new antique treasures.
